The jogging stroller strolls easier when on a track like surface.
Its hard to explain but its much easier to push when jogging and the jogging stroller has less chances of flipping.
If you go run a mile on the track with a regular stroller and then run a mile on the track with a jogging stoller you will clearly see the differences.
they are made for jogging/running you should not use a regular stroller for jogging. The tires need to be inflated like bike tires, they have a very smooth ride and are easy to push. They can be alot more expensive than regular strollers. If you are not planning on using it for jogging it would probably not be a good choice for you.
Okay, the first two answers are certainly true of serious jogging strollers (they have a front wheel that is or can be fixed)
I use my jogging stroller for walks because the bigger wheels make it easier to go up & down curbs & things. It also is slightly more maneuverable – if you are in crowds a lot, that can be a bonus.
The downside, besides price – I’m guessing that you might be able to tip it more easily since it only has 3 wheels, but this hasn’t been a problem for me.
A jogging stroller is more of an all purpose, while a traditional baby stroller is not. Maybe the lack of a front wheel on a jogger stroller can feel a bit insecure at some times, but me and my wife talked a lot about it when we had our last child and we chose a jogger stroller.
